This learning module looks at what nursing students need to know and can do to make sure their clinical practice placements are successful and educational. Thorough preparation and an understanding of the change in learning environment that accompanies a clinical placement are discussed, along with ways student nurses can reduce anxiety and stress, and improve the overall learning experience.
