Course description

The aim of this module is to provide an overview of the role of blood glucose monitoring and management in the care of patients who have had a stroke. It provides information about how blood glucose monitoring and management in acute stroke care can be enhanced to ensure that incidents of hyperglycaemia and hypoglycaemia are minimised or avoided.
