This learning module focuses on the consideration of sexuality and sexual health as an essential element of a full nursing assessment. It discusses why nurses should be more open in consultations about sexual health and offers a step-by-step model to help nurses in their interventions. Although predominantly directed at mental health nurses, the principles can be adapted to other care contexts such as adult nursing.
