This learning module examines routine asthma care, asthma triggers and exacerbations, as well as the use of services, prescribing and medicines use, patient factors and perceptions of risk associated with poor control. The module highlights the role of medication, and of helping patients understand stepping up and stepping down, the place of current and future therapies in asthma care, and how to review patients effectively while managing concerns.
