This learning module explores the importance of nutritional support for patients with cancer as part of their assessment and treatment plan. The module examines the role of nurses in screening patients and identifying malnutrition using nutritional screening tools. It also introduces the concept of prehabilitation and how it can improve patient health, quality of life and treatment outcomes.
