Revalidation: implications for senior nurses

This learning module focuses on the senior nurse’s role in supporting registered nursing and midwifery staff through each stage of the Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC) revalidation process. Registrants revalidate every three years by demonstrating practice hours and continuing professional development, gaining practice-related feedback, and reflecting on practice. This module outlines, from a practical perspective, how nursing leaders and managers can ensure it is a meaningful experience.
