Course description
This module explains the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration process. It describes what individual nurses and midwives have to do to achieve revalidation. By completing the time out activities included in this module, reflecting on your practice and submitting your work for continuing professional development credits, you will be working towards creating a revalidation portfolio, in accordance with NMC guidelines.
Don't forget that you do not have to complete our two-hour learning modules all in one go. Tailor your learning to fit into your busy schedule by undertaking one or two sections at a time. You can stop and save your learning at any point and pick up where you left off when you return.

- List the NMC requirements for revalidation
- Identify where additional study or practice hours are required and consider how you can achieve this in the time frame available

- Use the information gathered during completion of this module to begin the reflective process in your portfolio, and submit the associated self-assessment questionnaire for continuing professional development (CPD) credits
