Course description

This module discusses professional issues and policies surrounding healthcare provision in the UK and the need for evidence-based practice. It considers how a systematic literature review can be performed to appraise evidence, thereby integrating previous research findings and providing a justification for decisions made daily in clinical nursing practice. Consideration is given to how systematic reviews can lead to positive outcomes for patients and their families.
